Kanji Dictionary and Practice
Concept and design of a Japanese dictionary and flash card application for smartphones.
This application supports input via virtual keyboard and handwriting recognition. The dictionary provides information about details like pitch accent and kanji stroke order.
Moreover the app provides popular vocabulary lists like JLPT for studying. It also supports creation of own flashcard lists. Flashcards can be quickly added from dictionary entries or created from scratch.
Created as student project under lecturer Phillip Bosch at University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (Interface Design degree programme).
